Execution Team Lead Department: Project Execution / Operations Job Summary

The Execution Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing the execution of IT projects and operational activities. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, monitoring project progress, ensuring timely delivery, managing resources, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Execution Team. Plan, assign, and monitor daily tasks and project activities. Ensure IT projects are executed and delivered within agreed timelines. Coordinate with Development, Testing/QA, UI/UX, Sales, and other internal teams. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management. Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure timely resolution. Ensure proper allocation and utilization of team resources. Conduct regular team meetings and follow-ups. Ensure project requirements are clearly understood and executed. Maintain project documentation, reports, and MIS. Handle client requirements and coordinate with relevant technical teams. Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Escalate critical issues to management when required. Guide, train, and motivate team members. Monitor team performance and productivity. Improve execution processes and ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and established processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong team leadership and people management skills. Good understanding of IT project execution and delivery processes. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong reporting and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–7 years of experience in IT project coordination, project execution, operations, or team management. Prior experience in leading or supervising a team is preferred.
