SAP S/4HANA FICO Techno-Functional Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Techno-Functional Lead to oversee the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of our SAP Finance landscape. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on configuration expertise with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, and will play a central role in a complex, high-volume business environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, configuration, testing, and support of core SAP FICO areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling, and Financial CloseOversee Accounts Receivable and Credit Management processes across wholesale, retail, and direct-to-consumer channelsSupport the development of digital payment and payment service provider integrations, covering authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and reconciliationAnalyze and resolve end-to-end transaction issues across SAP, banking partners, commerce platforms, and middlewareIdentify opportunities to reduce manual processes, streamline reconciliations, and uphold clean-core principlesProvide guidance to junior analysts and collaborate closely with Finance, Internal Audit, and technical teamsRequired QualificationsA minimum of 10 years of SAP experience, including substantial hands-on FICO configuration on live implementation projects (training and certifications alone are not sufficient)A strong foundation in finance and accounting, with a clear understanding of the business processes underlying system configurationExperience leading xzbcwsv full SAP implementations or major transformation programsExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with finance leadership and technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP Digital Payments Add-On (training will be provided)Experience with SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Public Cloud (ECC or other SAP experience will also be considered)Background in retail or consumer goods (finance experience from other industries is equally valued)
