About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop, and strengthen child development and learning programs for children aged 3–10 years. The role involves creating engaging learning experiences through toys, games, activity boxes, puzzles, card-based activities, and facilitator-led interventions that foster creativity, self-exploration, discovery, critical thinking, and socio-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities Program & Curriculum Design
- Design and develop child-centric learning programs for children aged 3–10 years.
- Create structured learning pathways, activity frameworks, and developmental outcomes.
- Develop play-based, experiential, and discovery-driven learning experiences.
- Translate child development principles into engaging activities and interventions.
- Design age-appropriate learning journeys that support cognitive, social, emotional, creative, and communication skills.
Product & Content Development
- Conceptualize and develop educational toys, board games, card games, puzzles, activity boxes, and learning kits.
- Create facilitator guides, instruction manuals, worksheets, activity cards, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and product development teams to bring concepts to life.
- Ensure developmental appropriateness, engagement, and scalability of all products.
Training & Capacity Building
- Design and conduct training programs for teachers, facilitators, caregivers, and implementation partners.
- Develop training modules, presentations, facilitator toolkits, and certification programs.
- Facilitate workshops and capacity-building sessions both online and offline.
- Support implementation teams through mentoring and coaching.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging trends in child development, learning sciences, educational toys, play-based learning, and experiential education.
- Conduct research to identify learner needs and improve program effectiveness.
- Benchmark global best practices and adapt them to local contexts.
- Continuously innovate and improve learning experiences based on user feedback.
Assessment & Impact
- Develop observation tools, assessment frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
- Measure program effectiveness and learner engagement.
- Analyze implementation data and recommend improvements.
- Document outcomes, case studies, and success stories.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with schools, NGOs, CSR partners, educators, and subject matter experts.
- Support pilot testing, implementation, and scaling of learning programs.
- Present program concepts and learning outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories for ages 3–10.
- Expertise in program design, curriculum development, and instructional design.
- Knowledge of play-based, experiential, inquiry-based, and discovery-driven learning approaches.
- Ability to design engaging toys, games, activity-based learning resources, and learning interventions.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong research, documentation, and content-writing abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Creative problem-solving and innovation mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Experience developing educational toys, games, activity boxes, or hands-on learning resources.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, Foundational Learning frameworks, and child development standards.
- Experience training educators, facilitators, or caregivers.
