Job Title: Supply Chain Customer Service RepLocation: Durham, NCDuration: 06 Months Contract (Potential temp to perm)Pay Rate: $22/hr. - $33/hr.Shift Time: 1st shift
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Summary:Responsible for developing and maintaining world-class relationships with both External and Internal Diagnostics Customers, including the Commercial Operations and Technical Support departments. Assists with ensuring on-time and complete delivery of goods to Diagnostics Customers in the Americas region by developing and maintaining key relationships with all Logistics providers (manufacturers, warehouses, and freight carriers). Key member of the America’s Supply Chain Organization responsible for process development to improve efficiency and contribute to Cost Savings Initiatives.
Primary responsibilities for role:This role also delivers quality products and services on time to all customers, internal and external. Where applicable, assist with providing employees with training and resources to meet orexceed customer requirements. Monitor processes and products to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. In some cases, minimal domestic and International travel may be required.
Maintenance of sales order entry into SAPCoordination and Management of outbound shipments to Customers, this includes but is not limited to facilitating import permits, meeting logistic requirements and other related process.Manage the Track and Trace process to insure meeting the validated shipping requirementsCustomer invoicing and SOX complianceAssist with the management of Logistics Providers, including 3PL warehouses and Freight CarriersMaintenance of SAP transactions to ensure data integrity and traceability of productsContribute to Supply Chain strategic/special projectsCollaborating with Planning/Procurement group for ongoing analysis of the required levels of inventory to meet customer requirements.Performing Ongoing analysis of Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including Customers On-time Delivery PerformanceOther duties which may be assigned by the department managerSeeks to understand customer's needs, educates customers, builds collaborative relationships with customers, takes actions to meet customer needs and concerns, sets up customer feedback
Knowledge and skills:Demonstrated knowledge of SAP (preferably MM/SD modules)Working knowledge of MS office components, especially Excel, Word and PowerPointPrior experience in air transportation, customs clearance processes and intonational logistics desirableProven ability to work under pressure and with ambiguityDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to focus on key customer needsAPICS certification/ Six Sigma or equivalent is desirable. xzbcwsv Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Associate's degree, advanced training, or equivalent experience required.Exp: 2-3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics roles
