About the Role

We are looking for an E-commerce Marketplace Strategist who can manage and grow sales across marketplaces and has strong hands-on knowledge of marketplace advertising, performance marketing, analytics, and business growth .

The candidate should understand the complete marketplace ecosystem—from product listing and catalog optimization to Ads, sales growth, profitability, inventory planning, and marketplace strategy .

Key Responsibilities :-

• Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies to increase sales, revenue, traffic, conversion, and profitability. 
• Manage marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Walmart, Etsy, JioMart, Blinkit, Instamart , etc.
• Create and manage marketplace advertising campaigns , including:
• Sponsored Products
• Sponsored Brands
• Sponsored Display
• Search/keyword campaigns
• Auto & manual campaigns
• Retargeting and promotional campaigns
• Monitor and optimize ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CVR, impressions, clicks, and advertising sales .
• Identify high-performing and underperforming SKUs, keywords, categories, and campaigns and take corrective actions.
• Develop strategies for new product launches and SKU growth .
• Optimize product listings including titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, images, A+ Content, pricing, and promotions .
• Conduct competitor, keyword, pricing, and market analysis .
• Track marketplace performance through daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and reports .
• Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for revenue and profitability growth .
• Coordinate with catalog, creative, inventory, warehouse, finance, and customer support teams.
• Plan and execute marketplace promotions, deals, coupons, and seasonal campaigns .
• Monitor account health, listing issues, policy violations, suppressed listings, and marketplace cases.
• Identify opportunities for new marketplaces, new categories, and international expansion .
• Forecast sales and coordinate inventory planning to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Continuously test new strategies to improve organic ranking, paid visibility, conversion, and overall marketplace performance . 

Key Skills :-

• Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central .
• Marketplace advertising and PPC campaign management .
• Understanding of ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CPC, CTR and conversion rate .
• Marketplace SEO and keyword research.
• Product ranking and organic growth strategies.
• Competitor and market analysis.
• Pricing and promotion strategy.
• Marketplace analytics and reporting.
• Understanding of P&L, margins, contribution margin and profitability .
• Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis.
• Understanding of marketplace algorithms and sales funnels.
