Job description:Technical Lead to drive solution delivery, technical excellence, and innovation for Volvo Cars US. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership capabilities to guide teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver high-impact business solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead solution design, development, and implementation for strategic Gen AI initiatives .Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.Drive code reviews, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.Collaborate with Volvo Cars US business and IT stakeholders.Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.Support Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to innovation, automation, and modernization programs.
Required ExpertiseHands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:Data Analytics & AIJava & Full-Stack Engineering & AICloud Engineering (AWS/Azure/GCP) & AISalesforce Technologies & AI
Qualifications8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience leading distributed teams in Agile environments.Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
PreferredAutomotive industry experience.Cloud, Salesforce, AI, or Agile certifications.Experience in digital transformation and modernization programs.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $135000per yearPay Range Maximum: $ 198000per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
