The company offers a variety of fresh, frozen, and traditionally smoked salmon products, embodying the rich heritage of Norwegian seafood. This job will be based out of Gwal Pahari in Gurgaon
Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Gurgaon. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing budgets and financial forecasts, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. The Accountant will also collaborate with the management team to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and accounting principles
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasting reports
• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
• Professional certifications like CA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus
• Previous experience in the food or import/export industry is advantageous
