Job Description Provide legal advice on tax-related matters to support business operations and decision-making. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations. Assist in tax planning and structuring for various transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to address tax implications of business activities. Support the preparation and review of tax filings and documentation. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company. Work with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities as needed. Identify and mitigate potential tax risks for the company. The Successful Applicant A successful Associate Tax Counsel should have: A strong background in tax law, ideally within the asset management industry. Ideally 3-5 years of Big Four or Law Firm experience with a focus asset management tax Experience advising on federal, state, and international tax regulations. Knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and reporting processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
