As an RVT, you'll play a vital role in patient care by:
- Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery and ensure a safe recovery
- Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Educate clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate medical records using the practice management system
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide the highest standard of patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential
- Strong technical skills in anesthesia, surgery, patient care, and nursing
- Experience using veterinary practice management software (PIMS)
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
- Previous Lead Veterinary Technician experience
- Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management Software
