Venture Partner / Crypto Deal Sourcing (Remote)

Tephra Capital is a pre-seed crypto venture fund backed by partners from GSR, Goldman Sachs, and Gemini. We write first checks into stablecoin settlement, custody, and payments infrastructure, and we are expanding our Venture Partner network across the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

What you actually do: bring us the founders and deals you already know. Warm intros, early signals, pattern recognition from being deep in this asset class. No cold outreach quotas, no decks, no technical background required. If you have lived through a crypto cycle with real money on the line, you already have the most important skill for this role.
Compensation is carry-based: you participate in the economics of the deals you source, and Venture Partners with meaningful personal positions also receive co-invest rights alongside the fund.
One non-negotiable requirement, and it is industry standard for crypto allocations: you hold an active personal self-custody position of at least $10,000 in a wallet such as MetaMask, Exodus, Ledger, or Trezor, on your own machine. We review self-custody during the intro call, screen-share, five minutes, the same way we diligence every project we fund. Your keys stay yours, we never ask for seed phrases or private keys, and any fund that does is not worth your time.
Process: intro call over Zoom, then a short working session with the partners, then a decision inside a week. We reply to every serious application. xzbcwsv
