Nexgen Locum are currently recruiting experienced Paramedics to join our growing team, supporting ambulance transport services across the UK.
We are looking for reliable, professional and patient-focused Paramedics who are looking for flexible work alongside their existing commitments, or those seeking regular ongoing shifts.
What you'll be doing
As a Paramedic, you will provide safe, compassionate and professional patient care while supporting ambulance transport operations.
Depending on the service, duties may include:
Providing patient assessment and appropriate clinical care
Safely transporting patients to and from healthcare appointments and facilities
Supporting patients with a range of medical needs
Working alongside Ambulance Care Assistants and Emergency Care Assistants
Completing accurate patient documentation and handovers
Ensuring patient safety and dignity throughout the journey
Responding appropriately to changes in a patient's condition
Working in line with relevant clinical procedures, policies and CQC requirements
What we're looking for
HCPC registered Paramedic
Relevant Paramedic qualification
Valid and current HCPC registration
Previous ambulance or patient transport experience desirable
Up-to-date mandatory training
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional xrexnqw references where possible
Reliable and professional approach
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Full UK driving licence where required for the role
