ASST. MANAGER PROJECTS (LPG Commercial)
Project Management:
The Asst. Manager Projects role is responsible for:
- Manage the execution of CAPEX projects of LPG Division customer site installations (Auto LPG Dispensing Station, Bulk, 450 Kg & LOT) from feasibility until completion of construction, commissioning and handover to Operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the projects smoothly.
- Manage Project planning and monitoring within the domain.
- Ensure compliance with national regulations, TE rules and specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement for B2B projects.
- Identifying, arranging, controlling and monitoring works executed at customer sites.
- Coordinating with the multi-discipline team during Project Execution phase
- Conducting periodic project Risk assessment meetings with HSE team of TE, PMC & Contractor and draw up mitigating measures
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
- Organizing formal closure and handover of the projects and REX report if applicable.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Safety, Sustainability & Compliance
Implement safety initiatives, managing compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including TE standards, PNGRB, PESO, and OISD ASME and API etc.
Manage sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact and support corporate responsibility goals within the areas of responsibilities.
Control compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.
Financial & Performance Management
Manage the budgeting and resource allocation process to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment for B2B projects.
Control and manage engineering and CAPEX budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or reliability.
Control financial performance by implementing measures to optimize CAPEX and enhance profitability.
Team Leadership & Development
Develop a pool of high-performing contractors and suppliers.
Transfer of knowledge to the team and contractors by Providing coaching, mentoring, training.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with TEMIPL employees, Project PMC and Contractors & Suppliers.
Qualifications/Experience required
What is the required qualification level for the position? Bachelor’s or equivalent in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
What are the technical skills required? Project Management, Project Risk studies and Change management process & Negotiation skills.
Software proficiency: Auto CAD or any other design software- Basic/Intermediate, Proficiency in MS office tools

What are the soft skills required? Collaboration, Team spirit, Assertiveness, Ensure execution, etc.
Which specific knowledges are required for the position? Project feasibility studies, Site level project execution, HSE for project activities, Project schedule monitoring.
