We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Welder in Trichy, Tamil Nadu . Our client is seeking skilled and motivated professionals with hands-on experience in TIG and ARC welding. Candidates who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and ARC welding according to job specifications and fabrication requirements.
  
• Prepare metal surfaces and joints before carrying out welding operations.
  
• Select suitable welding electrodes, filler materials, and machine settings.
  
• Operate welding machines, grinders, and related fabrication tools safely.
  
• Inspect completed welds for proper penetration, strength, and finish.
  
• Correct welding defects and perform rework when required.
  
• Follow workshop safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  
• Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
  

Required Skills

• TIG Welding: Hands-on ability to produce clean and controlled weld joints.
  
• ARC Welding: Practical experience performing manual arc welding on fabricated components.
  
• Joint Preparation: Ability to prepare, align, and position materials before welding.
  
• Welding Equipment Handling: Familiarity with welding machines and common fabrication tools.
  
• Weld Inspection: Ability to identify basic welding defects and maintain acceptable workmanship.
  

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read basic fabrication or engineering drawings.
  
• Experience using grinders and other metal fabrication tools.
  
• Knowledge of workplace welding safety practices.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should have 1–2 years of welding experience , particularly with TIG and ARC welding. Practical experience in a workshop, fabrication, manufacturing, or similar industrial environment is preferred.

Education

Minimum: Typical qualification — ITI / vocational training in Welding or a related trade

Preferred: Typical qualification — Welding trade certification

Additional: Relevant welding certification, if available
