The radiology technologist operates x-ray equipment in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to a specified patient population. JOB DESCRIPTION Arrange patients for radiological exams Performs diagnostic radiological exams for use in diagnosis of disease Prevent patients from unnecessary radiation exposure Perform portable X-ray exams Develops exposed X-ray files Perform administrative duties as needed for patient instructions, film-filing, and maintenance of records JOB REQUIREMENTS High School graduate or equivalent Graduate of approved Radiologic Technical program BXMO license for X-ray technicians American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Licensed/registered with the appropriate state agency Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification KNOWLED
