The OpportunityWe are representing a highly regarded Florida-based business law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its established and growing transactional practice.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a senior-level attorney with substantial experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, who is looking to take greater ownership of complex matters while working alongside accomplished attorneys in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead significant real estate transactions, work directly with clients and contribute to the continued development of a well-established practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing matters.Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents and other transactional agreements.Act as lead counsel on sophisticated transactions, managing matters from initial negotiations through closing.Advise clients on transactional structures, commercial considerations and associated legal risks.Coordinate due diligence and oversee the various parties involved in complex real estate transactions.Work collaboratively with colleagues across complementary practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal advice.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing commercially focused legal solutions.
Candidate RequirementsSignificant experience practising commercial real estate transactional law, ideally at senior associate level or above.Demonstrable experience independently managing sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and real estate finance.Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to lead complex, multi-party transactions with minimal supervision.Strong academic credentials and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Florida Bar admission, or willingness and eligibility to obtain admission.A proactive, commercially minded and collaborative approach to legal practice.
