<p> The US Clin Ops Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for executing strategic sales related activity focused on short term increase in sales velocity within assigned product categories. The role will be accountable for attaining product revenue/sales budget accounts within the role. The ISR will work collaboratively with other sales positions including, Account Manager, Microbiology Specialist, Molecular Specialist, Corporate Accounts, Regional Sales Director, Area Sales Director, Service Sales Manager, National Accounts, Distribution, and other positions as determined to drive revenue growth. This position will perform sales activities via telephone, MicroSoft Teams, and email for current customers and prospective new business for specific products within an assigned Sales Area. Some travel to customer sites and sales meetings may be required. The ISR educates customers on the features and benefits of the bioMerieux product offerings and provides sales product updates. In this position, the ISR regularly demonstrates independent decision-making, autonomy, and accountability. Primary Duties </p><ul><li> Attain or exceed revenue budget goals as assigned. </li><li> Execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed budget for reagent sales, instrument sales, instrument install base growth, new customer growth, or other revenue growth that may impact SBS budgets as determined by the VP of US Clin Ops Sales and directed by the Senior Director of National Product Specialists. </li><li> Adjust business and/or action plans as needed to account for shortages towards goal achievement. </li><li> Deliver effective sales call management, opportunity management, pipeline management and forecast accuracy. </li><li> Provide technical expertise/assistance in product line as required in sales process. </li><li> Support and/or deliver key sales presentations/demonstrations as required. </li><li> Work collaboratively in a matrix environment with bioMerieux colleagues for all bioMerieux product franchises. </li><li> Utilize bioMerieux internal stakeholders as needed to close opportunities within the assigned territory. </li><li> Utilizes good phone selling, cold calling, video conference, virtual product demonstrations, and face-to-face (as needed) selling techniques. </li><li> Attain call, task, event requirements, as documented in CRM and determined by management. </li><li> Maintains current CRM funnel/pipeline to ensure timing of closes matches monthly forecast, quarterly and annual business plan. </li><li> Articulate the bioMerieux product portfolio value propositions to customers and prospects. </li><li> Research accounts identifying key decision makers, influencers and other stakeholders needed to provide sales closes. </li><li> Conducts ongoing opportunities/threats analysis of all existing customers. </li><li> Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux Diagnostics Quality System. </li></ul> Qualifications Required Education, Training and Experience <ul><li> High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. </li><li>4+ years of experience in sales, sales support, marketing, or customer-facing roles </li></ul> Preferred Education, Training and Experience <ul><li> Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals </li><li> Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industry segments </li></ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <ul><li> Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMerieux promotes. </li><li> Business acumen to understand how a business operates and how to make it successful. </li><li> Effective verbal communication skills. </li><li> Action Oriented: Takes action even when facing challenges. </li><li> Manage and meet competing deadlines, requiring careful prioritization and time management to ensure all tasks are completed on time. </li><li> Build and maintain positive, productive interactions with colleagues. </li><li> Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. Intermediate: applies skills independently in most situations; handles moderately complex tasks with occasional guidance. </li></ul> Working Conditions <ul><li> Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods. </li><li> Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like. </li><li> Domestic travel required: 10% of time . </li></ul> The estimated wage range for this role in Utah is between $27.00 and $40.00 per hour. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieuxs bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidates experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
