Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Outpatient Office

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team at an outpatient primary care office in Whitestone, Queens, NY .

The ideal candidate is a confident, independent provider who can assess, diagnose, and manage patients effectively while delivering high-quality care in an office-based outpatient setting. This position starts part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license and appropriate certification.
• Previous primary care experience is required.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently within the NP scope of practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an outpatient office setting.
