Marketing Manager

PurposeThe Marketing Manager plans and executes the marketing that grows Encompass Credit Union: more members, more deposits, and deeper relationships with the members we already have. This is a hands-on, single-owner marketing position. The Marketing Manager will run campaigns end to end across digital, email, social, print, and community channels. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and CEO, you will work from a growth plan and turn strategy into consistent, measurable execution.

Typical weekly schedule is a variation of 40 hours to facilitate branch hours of Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and outside of routine business hours, as needed.
This Position will operate in a hybrid environment with a combination of in-office responsibilities and remote work, depending on scheduling, projects, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & CampaignsPlan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns for products, promotions, and initiatives that grow membership, deposits, loan production, and report results against these goalsCollaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with organizational goalsDevelop accountability metrics including but not limited to conversation rates, cost per new member and return on investmentCommunications (Internal & External)Develop clear, consistent messaging for members and staff in relation to marketing effortsWrite and distribute member communications (email, newsletters, website updates)Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all channelsDigital Marketing & ContentManage website updates and contentManage and optimize email marketing campaigns and member segmentsOversee social media strategy, posting, and engagementOversee creation of marketing materials (graphics, email content, blog posts)Track digital performance (email open rates, social engagement, website traffic)Community Engagement & EventsCoordinate community outreach efforts and sponsorshipsRepresent the credit union at local events and serve as a brand ambassador in the communityBuild partnerships with local organizations and businessesSupport financial education and member engagement initiativesBranding & CollateralMaintain brand standards across all materialsDevelop brochures, signage, and promotional materialsWork with vendors (printers, media outlets, designers) as neededEnsure branch marketing materials are current and consistentCompliance & AccuracyEnsure marketing materials comply with financial regulations and disclosuresWork with Compliance or leadership to review campaigns before release
Qualifications
Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent hands on experience3-5+ years of hands-on marketing, ideally owning campaigns end to endExperience in financial services, retail, or community-focused organizations preferredDemonstrated results tied to growth (audience, leads, members, revenue), not just activity.Preferred:Experience with a CRM and/or email or marketing-automation platform.Comfort reading campaign analytics and acting on them.Basic design and content-creation skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar).Understanding of marketing compliance in financial services.Skills & CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlinesAnalytical: turn campaign date into decisions. xzbcwsv Creativity paired with attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and community-engagement focusAdditional ExpectationsResponsibilities may expand or shift based on organizational needs and role developmentParticipation in occasional evening or weekend events may be required
