• Manage payer denials and appeals by reviewing technical denials, determining appeal eligibility, preparing appeal correspondence, and tracking outcomes to support reimbursement efforts.
• Coordinate insurance carrier audit requests, respond to payer inquiries for medical records, and facilitate timely submission of required documentation.
• Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to communicate audit and appeal findings, resolve claim issues, and support successful claim adjudication.
• Conduct charge capture and documentation audits to improve reimbursement accuracy, identify revenue opportunities, and promote overall financial performance.
• Office open 8AM-530PM Monday-Friday; Tier level requirements; Ideally looking for Monday and Friday availability and possible coverage for PTO requests.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
  transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire.
