This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, students, and families and wants to make a meaningful impact by developing engaging programs, building relationships, and strengthening a vibrant church community.
The Director of Christian Formation will provide leadership and direction for faith formation programs across all ages, with a primary focus on growing children's and student ministries.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and strengthen children's and student ministry programs.Build meaningful relationships with children, students, parents, and church members.Plan and coordinate Sunday School, student activities, retreats, service opportunities, and special events.Recruit, mentor, and support volunteers and ministry leaders.Develop creative and engaging opportunities for spiritual growth and learning.Collaborate with church leadership to expand programs and encourage participation across all generations.
Ideal Candidate:Experience in children's ministry, student ministry, Christian education, or related leadership roles.Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.Genuine passion for working with children, students, and families.Ability to recruit, motivate, and lead volunteers.Creative, energetic, and comfortable taking initiative to grow programs.Commitment to Christian education and Reformed theology.
