ACE Partners is partnering with a global leader in chemical manufacturing to appoint a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Manager. This is a high-impact leadership role and a key seat on the Site Leadership Team, driving operational performance, reliability and continuous improvement across a complex, regulated manufacturing site.
The Opportunity:
You will lead the Maintenance & Reliability function, overseeing all plant maintenance including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls. You will own the Operations and Maintenance budget, monitor operating and outage performance, and ensure targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead reliability engineers and maintenance supervisors in failure analysis and prediction across equipment, components and materialsManage repair and maintenance of site infrastructure, including manufacturing, utilities, distribution and wastewater treatmentEstablish KPIs, drive productivity and embed preventive maintenance best practiceOwn the site CMMS and use data to optimize long-term cost of ownershipSupport Process Safety Management (PSM) execution and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHS and FDA requirementsManage maintenance contracts, including scopes of work, bidding and deliveryControl the site maintenance budget and ensure critical spares are identified and availableSupport scoping, installation and startup of capital projectsLead a union workforce, including administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and labor relationsEnsure all personnel and contractors are trained, qualified and certifiedPartner with engineering, manufacturing and production teams on design reviews and reliability data analysis
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience5+ years of maintenance or equipment reliability experience, ideally in chemical or regulated manufacturingStrong working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, CMMS and OSHA PSMFamiliarity with cGMP, EPA, OSHA, DEA and DOT regulatory requirementsHands-on leader with strong troubleshooting, project management and communication skillsKnowledge of chemical manufacturing and plant support systems
