The firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its growing team, handling sophisticated Chapter 11 reorganizations and complex restructuring matters. ResponsibilitiesRepresent debtors, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, asset purchasers and estate fiduciaries in Chapter 11 and other restructuring mattersDraft motions, pleadings, briefs and other bankruptcy court filings with accuracy and efficiencyHandle bankruptcy litigation, including contested matters, adversary proceedings and court hearingsWork with senior attorneys and colleagues in litigation, real estate and corporate on complex workouts, asset sales and restructuring transactions
QualificationsJD with strong academic credentials and active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing3+ years of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring experience, with litigation experience a plus xzbcwsv Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to advise clients on complex restructuring issues
