About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to work directly alongside the CPA Partner.

This is a self-sufficient, client-facing role — the successful candidate will own the majority

of the audit engagement lifecycle from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute audit testing and prepare complete, review-ready workpapers

• Identify outstanding items, open questions, and documentation gaps throughout the

engagement

• Communicate directly with clients to request and follow up on needed documentation

• Manage multiple concurrent audit engagements across industries, including

government, nonprofit, and corporate clients

• Take a lead role on more complex government and nonprofit engagements

• Collaborate closely with the engagement partner and audit staff to keep engagements

on schedule

• Work primarily within AuditFile for engagement management

Requirements

• 6+ years of audit experience (public accounting preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Strong workpaper documentation and audit testing skills

• Experience with government and/or nonprofit audits strongly preferred

• Corporate audit experience

• Comfortable communicating directly with client
