Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Postgraduate (PG) Teachers in Mathematics and English at Mothers Matric Higher Secondary School, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The PG Teachers will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards, ensuring clear learning objectives and outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing timely feedback to support learner progress. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, maintaining accurate academic records, collaborating with colleagues and school leadership, engaging with parents or guardians as needed, and contributing to co-curricular activities and school events.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in Mathematics including the ability to explain concepts clearly and support diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development , with the ability to design structured, age-appropriate, and outcome-based lesson plans.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher , with a postgraduate degree (Master’s) in Mathematics or English, plus B.Ed or equivalent professional teaching qualification.
• Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly with students, colleagues, and families.
• Experience teaching middle and higher secondary school learners is highly preferred.
• Commitment to student-centered teaching, continuous professional development, and adherence to school policies and values.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, participate in school activities, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
