Senior Manager - Programs and Grant

Role Purpose : The Senior Program Manager will lead the end-to-end management of a portfolio of donor-funded grants and strategic development programs. The role is responsible for managing the complete grant lifecycle, from proposal development and budgeting to implementation, monitoring, reporting, compliance, and grant close-out, while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects across multiple states. The person will work closely with donors, government agencies, implementing partners, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project objectives and strengthen organisations Food and Agriculture vertical. Key Responsibilities : Programs & Grant Management Proposal Development & Resource Mobilization Financial & Budget Management Project Planning & Coordination Partner & Sub-grantee Management Stakeholder & Donor Engagement Team Leadership & Capacity Building Qualifications : Master's degree in Management, Public Policy, Development Studies, Agriculture, Rural Management, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience : 8 years of progressive experience in managing donor-funded grants and development programs, including multi-state and multi-partner projects. Demonstrated experience in grant lifecycle management, proposal development, budgeting, financial management, donor compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project implementation. Hands-on experience with project management tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, and advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets) for project planning, workplan management, task tracking, budgeting, reporting, and performance monitoring (Preferred/Added Advantage). Experience working with government agencies, bilateral and multilateral organizations, international development agencies, foundations, CSR initiatives, and implementing partners will be preferred.
