Job Title: Loan IQ BALocation: New York NY Duration: Long Term ContractPay range - $67 to $70/hr. on w2 Position SummaryThe organization is seeking an experienced Loan IQ Business Analyst to support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing operations of critical lending platforms for leading financial institutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various functions to optimize loan servicing processes, improve system performance, and support strategic transformation efforts. The candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, focusing on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and user experience throughout the loan lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to loan origination, servicing, repayments, restructures, and other loan lifecycle events.Act as a SME for the loan servicing platform, supporting modules such as servicing, accounting, agency deals, and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs for development teams and vendors.Lead or assist in testing activities including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), creating test cases, managing defect resolution, and validating business outcomes.Provide production support through issue triage, root cause analysis, data investigation, and coordination with technology teams and third-party vendors.Required QualificationsProven experience as a Business Analyst supporting commercial lending, syndicated loans, or loan operations environments.Strong hands-on knowledge of a commercial loan servicing platform, including functionalities related to servicing, accounting, agency deals, and loan lifecycle processes.Experience in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and executing technology change initiatives within financial services.Strong analytical skills with experience in supporting reconciliations, reporting, and investigating loan balances, interest, fees, and accounting outputs.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology, and vendor teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience working directly with a loan servicing platform vendor.Knowledge of loan accounting, general ledger integrations, and financial reporting processes.Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and user story development.Experience supporting large-scale platform implementations, upgrades, or migration programs.Familiarity with automation, workflow process enhancements, and operational transformation initiatives.
