Certified Special Education Teacher for ELA - Grades 1-8

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher to provide students in grades 1 through 8 with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Achievement Unlocked is a small private, special education school in downtown Brooklyn. You will be responsible for developing or modifying curricula and preparing lessons and other instructional materials to student ability levels. Additionally, you will implement strategies that reach students who need accelerated content in some subject areas and remediation in others and incorporate students' interests in order to engage learning.
