Optical TechnicianDuration: 12 months contractOverviewWe are seeking a hands-on, technically inclined technician to support precision alignment and testing activities for advanced optical and illumination systems. The role involves working with optical assemblies, laser alignment, precision adjustments, and specialized software to ensure system accuracy and performance.Must-Have & Desired SkillsHands-on experience with optical alignment, laser alignment, or precision equipment testing.Experience using hand tools for precision mechanical adjustments and equipment troubleshooting.Ability to work with software for alignment, calibration, measurement, and verification.Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex equipment and systems.Experience with optical systems, lasers, photonics, autofocus systems, or illumination systems is highly desirable.Background in semiconductor equipment, scientific instruments, electromechanical systems, or precision manufacturing is preferred.Approximately 2-3 years of relevant hands-on experience preferred.Relevant technical education is desirable; equivalent practical experience may be considered.Responsibilities:Perform bench-level alignment and adjustment of optical and illumination systems.Support laser-assisted optical alignment and verify alignment accuracy using specialized software.Make precision mechanical adjustments using appropriate hand tools and techniques.Troubleshoot alignment issues and support testing and calibration activities.Work with hardware and software to ensure equipment meets required performance and accuracy standards.Document work performed, observations, and test results while following established procedures.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support equipment performance and continuous improvement.Education:Technical degree or equivalent practical experienceAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
