Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage daily warehouse activities and ensure that goods are received, stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

• Warehouse Operations Management
• Supervise receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch activities. Browse Careers
• Ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and orders are processed on time.
• Maintain proper handling and storage practices.
• Inventory and System Management
• Maintain accurate records in ERP, SAP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Transfer Notes (MTN), and daily Material Receiving Reports (MRRs). Find Supermarkets
• Monitor inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
• Stock Rotation and Inventory Control
• Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to ensure older stock is used or dispatched first.
• Apply FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) to prioritize stock approaching its expiry date.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Train Managers
• Team Supervision
• Assign daily tasks to warehouse employees.
• Provide on-the-job training and monitor staff productivity.
• Support warehouse audits and ensure employees follow operating procedures.
• Supply Chain Coordination

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs.

Qualification and Experience

Education

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing or supply chain management.

This is an experienced-level management position, so applicants should be able to demonstrate substantial practical knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
