What you will do:

• Assist in mechanical design and 3D CAD modelling of motorcycle components using SolidWorks or equivalent software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and modal analysis in ANSYS for strength, weight, and cost.
• Support design calculations, material selection, and tolerance checks.
• Take part in hands‑on R&D, including concept testing, design iterations, and experimental builds.
• Develop prototypes through fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support bench and road testing, record test data, and help with failure analysis.
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, test reports, and technical documentation, and maintain revision records.
• Support DFMA and the transition from prototype to production‑ready products.
• Help prepare assembly procedures and work instructions for the production line.
• Support supplier coordination, incoming component inspection, and quality checks.
• Contribute actively to ongoing R&D projects and day‑to‑day engineering tasks as priorities shift.
• Coordinate with electrical, production, and procurement teams and take part in design reviews.

What we are looking for:

Must have a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering (or related field).

Ideally, FYP/semester project related to EVs Design/modeling (CAD, CAE, CFD, etc.) and familiarity with Pakistan’s EV space.

Knowledge of different manufacturing techniques, i.e., fabrication, 3D Printing, plastic molding, CNC machining, etc.

Familiarity with the mechanical design components supply chain, local and international, for electric 2‑wheelers.

Ability to work on a full‑time basis in Rawat Industrial Area, Islamabad.

Functional skills

• CAD, CAM, CAE, CFD, FEA
• Software expertise in: SolidWorks, ANSYS, Creo, CATIA, Fusion 360, Blender
• Can ride a motorbike and perform product testing on the road

Work experience

Prior hands‑on experience of 06 months to 01 year in the related field is a MUST.
