Education Manager (Site Director) – Test Prep & TutoringSyosset and Manhasset (our main office is at 585 Plandome road, Manhasset, by the LIRR)Full-time | On-site$90K-$115k (depending on experience, hours and performance)

Help students succeed—and take on a leadership role in a growing education program. Test Takers is hiring an Education Manager (Site Director) to lead instruction, work with families, and help manage and grow our Syosset and Long Island program.
This is a unique role that combinesTeaching (SAT/ACT + academic tutoring)Student and family advisingProgram and site leadershipYou’ll have meaningful responsibility, autonomy in your day-to-day work, and a direct impact on the success of your site, while working closely with a small, experienced leadership team.What You’ll Do:
Teach SAT classes and tutor students (test prep + academic)Adapt to different learning stylesDeliver engaging, high-quality instructionSpeak with prospective families and guide them toward the right programHelp students get started with tutoring and classesBuild strong relationships that drive retention and referralsManage class schedules and student enrollmentCoordinate day-to-day logistics and program executionSupport and mentor tutorsContribute to outreach and local growth efforts
What This Role Is LikeA mix of teaching, communication, and operationsAbout 20-25 hours/week teaching, plus leadership and admin workHigh autonomy in how you manage your responsibilitiesFast-paced during peak seasons (SAT dates, finals)most education managers work noon-830pm Monday through Thursday and Sundays 9am-5pmWhat We’re Looking For3+ years full time teaching or tutoring high school students post collegeStrong SAT proficiency in both math xzbcwsv and English (required)Excellent communication skills, especially with parentsOrganized, reliable, and detail-orientedSomeone who takes initiative and follows throughWhy Join Test TakersBe part of a small, high-impact teamWork directly with experienced leadershipMake a meaningful difference in students’ livesOpportunity to grow into broader leadership over time
