A locum tenens Licensed Clinical Psychologist is needed at an adult male correctional facility in Tecumseh, Nebraska. The facility provides behavioral health services to patients with a wide range of mental health and behavioral needs. Qualified candidates can be licensed in Nebraska, with licensing costs covered. Travel and housing are also covered for the assignment, and credentialing can be expedited for a quick start.

The area is anchored by a historic downtown district centered on an 1889 limestone courthouse, with local cafes, museum spaces, and civic venues supporting a consistent schedule of family and community gatherings. Notable attractions include the Johnson County Historical Museum, the Montz Motorcycle Museum - which houses over 100 motorcycles from early 1900s manufacturers to present day - and outdoor spaces such as Tecumseh City Park, which offers playground areas and picnic spaces, and the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Visitors may also explore Bentzinger Tallgrass Prairie, located just off Highway 50, which features a range of native plant species across both upland and wet prairie areas.

This is a full-time, onsite Psychologist position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with no anticipated call. The Psychologist will provide care to an adult male correctional population, including patients with serious mental illness, behavioral concerns, crisis needs, and other complex mental health conditions. Responsibilities include individual therapy, psychological and diagnostic evaluations, psychological testing, crisis intervention, risk and mental status assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, behavioral plans, and completing clinical documentation and reports. The Psychologist will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team and participate in treatment meetings. Correctional or forensic experience is preferred but not required.
