Senior Analyst – SAP ABAP on HANA
Experience: 4-6 years
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to develop and enhance
programs, work on CDS views, and support S/4 HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will possess strong
problem-solving skills and collaborate with functional teams to optimize existing code and drive business
requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development & Enhancement: Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) to meet business requirements.
• CDS Views & HANA: Design, build, and optimize CDS views leveraging native HANA capabilities for improved performance.
• S/4 HANA Support: Support S/4 HANA implementations, upgrades, and rollouts, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new functionality.
• Code Optimization: Collaborate with functional teams to review, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and maintainability.
• Requirement Gathering: Work closely with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Testing & Documentation: Conduct unit testing, support integration testing, and maintain clear technical documentation for all development work.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal business disruption.
KEY REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with exposure to SAP HANA and S/4 HANA environments.
• Core ABAP Skills: Strong command of ABAP Objects, RICEF development, and performance optimization techniques.
• CDS & HANA: Practical experience building and enhancing CDS views, and working with native HANA development artifacts.
• S/4 HANA Exposure: Experience supporting or working on S/4 HANA implementation, migration, or support projects.
• Integration Knowledge: Working knowledge of OData services, Fiori/UI5 integration, and ABAP-based interfaces is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues independently.
• Collaboration: Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with functional consultants and cross-functional teams.
