Key ResponsibilitiesReview and support quarterly and annual statutory financial reportingResearch and interpret Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) guidanceAssist with statutory audits, regulatory filings, and state examinationsAnalyze and reconcile complex financial data, investments, and general ledger activityIdentify reporting discrepancies and help improve accounting processes and controlsPartner with finance leadership, auditors, and internal teams on technical accounting mattersQualifications & Experience5+ years of insurance accounting experience requiredCPA preferred, BS degree xzbcwsv requiredStrong knowledge of NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)Experience supporting statutory audits and regulatory reportingAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex workbooksStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
