Role Description This is a full-time Architect role based in Mangaluru. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts and detailed designs for residential and commercial projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, safety codes, and sustainability goals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and 3 D models, coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior design teams, and reviewing designs for functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and consultants to oversee design execution, attend site visits, and resolve technical issues during construction. The Architect will also participate in client meetings, gather requirements, present design proposals, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings. Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring timelines, and supporting budget and quality control. Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as applied to architecture-related tools, including proficiency with CAD/BIM software and integration of digital design workflows. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility for professional registration as per local regulations. Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or equivalent) and familiarity with building codes and local regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to translate client needs into practical designs. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience in residential and commercial real estate projects and an interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design practices are highly beneficial.Details
