The position will be within the Transportation Practice of KCI Technologies to perform the following duties:Assist in the development of multiple construction plans for transportation projects. These duties will be performed under the supervision of a senior project engineer or project manager.Perform work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment. Assignments usually include engineering calculations, interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications, and assistance with proposal preparation.Help to coordinate work of multiple engineering disciplines, as well as performing drafting/CADD work for the project.Develops engineering reports, quantities and Construction Cost EstimatesThe ideal candidate will posses these preferred qualifications:General Knowledge and/or experience with MicroStation, AutoCADCandidate must have good communication and technical writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelFamiliarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, and NACTO standardsEIT certification PreferredQualificationsBachelor's Degree required. Appropriate professional certification preferred.Minimum of 0-2 year's experience.Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
