About the OpportunityAn opportunity to join an extremely successful, rapidly growing General Contractor delivering large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the DC/Baltimore region.The Preconstruction Manager will play a key role in projects from early planning through procurement and construction handover, driving accurate estimating, cost control, value engineering, and competitive bid strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead preconstruction activities, budgeting, estimating, and bid management for large commercial projects.Develop detailed cost estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies.Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and constructability reviews.Manage subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and bid leveling.Support project teams through a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.
Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in preconstruction, estimating, or commercial construction management.Strong background with a General Contractor on large-scale commercial projects.Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, subcontractor procurement, and construction documents.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. xzbcwsv
