1-2-Taste is an international food ingredient distributor focused on becoming the category leader in sweeteners & fibres, plant proteins and citrus ingredients across India. We combine technical expertise with digital sales and marketing to help food manufacturers develop better products.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to grow our business with food, beverage and nutraceutical manufacturers across India. You will build relationships with Procurement, R&D and Product Development teams, convert new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.

Role Description

• Develop new business within Food, Beverage and Nutraceutical manufacturers.
• Grow sales of our Sweeteners & Fibres, Plant Proteins and Citrus portfolio.
• Build long-term relationships with Procurement, R&D and Product Development teams.
• Convert opportunities into profitable business and grow existing accounts.
• Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Supply Chain to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and achieve revenue and margin targets.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of B2B food and or nutraceutical ingredient sales experience.
• Strong network within the Indian food and nutraceutical industry.
• Experience selling specialty ingredients to manufacturers.
• Self-driven, commercially minded and passionate about winning new business.
• Fluent in English, Tamil and Hindi.
• Willing to travel extensively across India.
