Location: Marsh Barton, Exeter, EX3 0QH Pay: £13.25 per hour Hours: Monday to Saturday, 4:00am until finish (mid/late afternoon) Start: Ongoing work – high urgency
CDS Labour are currently recruiting 3.5T Van Delivery Drivers for an established wholesale foodservice business based in Marsh Barton, Exeter.
The role involves delivering wholesale fruit and vegetables to a variety of businesses and schools. This is a physically demanding delivery position involving heavy lifting, customer deliveries and the use of hand scanners.
Main Duties
Driving a 3.5T delivery van safely and responsibly
Delivering wholesale fruit and vegetables to businesses and schools
Loading and unloading deliveries
Regular heavy lifting and manual handling
Using hand scanners to manage deliveries
Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
Carrying out general delivery duties as required
What We're Looking For
Previous delivery driving experience is preferred
Good spoken English is required
Ability to complete regular heavy lifting and manual handling
Reliable and punctual
Good safe-driving standards
DBS required due to deliveries to schools
Applicants must be 21+
HGV licence is not required; this role is for 3.5T van driving
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday Start: 4:00am Finish: Mid/late afternoon depending on the day's deliveries. xrexnqw

£25 weekly bonus for keeping the van clean and demonstrating safe driving standards, paid monthly

Important Information
Hi-vis and safety boots are required
Own transport is required
Public transport is not available
DBS required
Mirror and lens damage is expected to be paid by the driver immediately
Any losses or breakages of stock are deducted from the £25 bonus
No overtime rate is currently offered
