Principle Responsibilities Quality Care and Performance Improvement Planning
- Champion evidence-based practice and drive excellence in patient care, safety, quality outcomes, and the overall patient experience.
- Lead clinical quality improvement efforts through education, professional development, and continuous performance enhancement.
- Establish and maintain nursing standards, policies, and best practices that support high-quality, consistent care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements through effective oversight, data analysis, and operational processes.
- Evaluate performance outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that advance clinical and organizational goals.
- Develop and empower high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, succession planning, and professional development.
- Partner with leaders, physicians, and staff to advance nursing excellence, improve outcomes, and establish best practices.
- Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and belonging where team members feel valued, heard, and supported.
- Provide visible, approachable leadership that builds trust, strengthens collaboration, and responds to employee needs.
- Drive workforce retention and performance by ensuring employees have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to thrive.
- Lead budget planning, resource allocation, and financial performance management to achieve operational and strategic goals.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and key financial metrics, identifying variances and implementing actions to improve results.
- Partner with leaders to develop and manage operating and capital budgets while ensuring fiscal accountability.
- Lead or support business planning initiatives that drive growth, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient volume, optimize resources, and strengthen service line performance.
- Maintains effective relationships within and between departments to effectively partner around solutions.
- Establishes community linkages that promote learning and health improvement.
- Collaborates with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing and
- Master's degree in nursing, business, healthcare administration or related field required, or must be actively pursuing with agreed upon completion date
- 2 to 5 years of direct patient care experience in an acute health care setting
- 5 to 7 years of leadership experience in acute health care setting
- Position is primarily based at our St. Pau United Hospital.
