We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a strong background in Tenant Improvements, commercial renovations, build-outs, and interior construction.
You'll lead commercial projects ranging from $3M to $50M, taking full ownership from preconstruction through closeout and working closely with Superintendents, Estimators, executives, owners, architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a Project Manager who understands the unique demands of fast-paced TI construction, is organized and decisive, and can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple commercial Tenant Improvement and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeoutManage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across all phases of constructionCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, property management teams, and internal operationsDevelop and maintain project schedules; identify critical-path items and proactively mitigate riskReview and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and project scopesConduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, schedule, and safetyManage project budgets, cost reporting, change orders, forecasting, and financial controlsLead subcontractor buyout, scope review, procurement, and trade coordinationManage the accelerated schedules and changing requirements common to commercial TI projectsChampion jobsite safety and ensure OSHA and company complianceMentor and support project teamsMaintain accurate project documentation and reportingOversee punch lists, closeout, turnover, and final client satisfactionSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
Required Qualifications5+ years of full-charge Project Management experience with a Commercial General ContractorSignificant experience managing commercial Tenant Improvement, renovation, build-out, or interior construction projectsExperience taking commercial projects from preconstruction through final turnoverStrong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, estimating, buyout, and cost controlAbility to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong owner, architect, subcontractor, and client-facing communication skillsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsSolid knowledge of construction administration, safety standards, and local building requirements
Preferred QualificationsEstablished experience delivering Tenant Improvement projects throughout the Phoenix metro areaBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldExperience with Microsoft Project, Procore, and Microsoft OfficeExperience across multiple commercial TI sectors, including office, retail, medical, hospitality, industrial, and other commercial environments
