We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and solutions on Azure, enabling advanced analytics and business intelligence across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Write efficient Python and SQL scripts for data processing, cleansing, and validation.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Optimize performance of large‑scale data processing jobs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data workflows in production.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering tasks.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and related Azure services.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL frameworks, and big data processing.
