About usComu is a new consumer AI hardware brand backed by a listed technology group / investor. Our first product is an AI voice recorder and note-taking device (hardware + app + subscription) that transcribes and summarises meetings, interviews and lectures in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and other regional languages. Amencrian is our first launch market, followed byJanpen, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be our first commercial leader in own the 0→1 go-to-market across the four launch markets. No distributor, retailer or marketplace store is signed yet; you will build the channel map, sign the first partners, set pricing and own the regional revenue target. You will hire and lead the country's sales lead.
Responsibilities:Define the offline channel mix and launch sequence for each market, and own the regional P&L and sell-through targetsSign and manage the first distributors and retail partners in each country and negotiate trade terms: pricing, margin, consignment vs. buy-out, retro, promoter programmesSet retail pricing, subscription packaging and the promotional calendar across markets, and manage channel price integrityBuild the country teams: recruit and manage Country Sales & Channel Managers;Work with HQ product and operations teams on local-language requirements, certification (IMDA, SIRIM, NBTC, SDPPI), import and after-sales setupRepresent the brand with key partners, at channel events and with media in the region
