Role Overview
We are looking for a Storage Administrator – L1 to support day-to-day storage infrastructure operations, including monitoring, provisioning, health checks, troubleshooting, and incident/service-request management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor storage infrastructure and identify alerts/issues.
- Provision storage volumes based on approved requests.
- Manage storage-related service requests.
- Perform routine storage health checks.
- Troubleshoot basic storage-related issues.
- Support incident and service request management.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams as required.
- Maintain operational records and ticket updates.
Required Skills
- SAN/NAS Fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of EMC Storage
- Basic knowledge of NetApp Storage
- Basic knowledge of Dell Storage
- Windows fundamentals
- Linux fundamentals
- Ticketing/ITSM tools
- Basic storage monitoring and troubleshooting
