Essential skill set required:

• Should be logical and analytical in approach
• An effective salesman who is familiar of the back-end operation in Freight forwarding and Customs Brokerage
• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding sales & operation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Sales experience at regional level
• Develop staff skills through training, performance reviews, and goal setting to enhance team productivity and efficiency
• Should be well familiar with the Maharashtra and Goa region and its varied trade nuances related achieve P&L of region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Branch Head to define the branch’s growth strategies and align with broader organizational goals
• Identify and explore new business opportunities, including expanding service offerings, improving market penetration, and increasing operational capacity.
• Responsible for P&L of Mumbai/ Pune Region.
• Overall business development (forwarding Air and Sea , trucking , Heavy haulage , CHA , 3PL etc..)
• Oversee the entire freight forwarding process, ensuring timely and efficient handling of ocean and air (Export & Import) shipments & custom clearance.
• To ensure an effective Customer Relationship Management at local level.
• To work on a continuous improvement plan to bring in efficiencies and lower down costs.
• To maintain a high level of transparency in his functioning through an effective reporting system.
• Be an integral role in new Business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding on new clients and improve revenue.
• To understating client challenges and presenting right solution and articulating solution benefits mapped to their needs
• Identifying potential customer with possessed strong customer Base.
• Conduct competitor analysis to ensure the branch maintains a competitive edge in the marketplace
