Krete Industries is looking for an experienced, hands-on operations leader who will exemplify the company’s core values while helping build the people, processes, and systems needed to support continued growth. The Director of Operations and Services reports to the President of the company and will lead Krete’s manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, safety, facilities, and dispenser-service operations while promoting accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing and business management experience, and implementation experience. The Director of Operations and Services will work closely with Krete leadership and employees across the organization to improve performance, solve operational challenges, and ensure the company grows profitably while maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Tasks:Oversee:SafetyManufacturing and Production PlanningPurchasing/Inventory Management3PL WarehousingCustomer Service and Order FulfillmentAdmixture dispenser production and field serviceApplications and Chemistry Labs (Responsibilities include workplace management, safety, resources, etc. Scientific direction, formulation changes/updates, and other technical direction remain with the appropriate technical leadership.)Implement company strategy to meet objectivesCollaborate with leadership to set and drive organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levelsTranslate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing company-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planningOversee company operations and employee productivity while fostering a collaborative and supportive cultureEnsure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retentionEnsure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary
Responsibilities:Manage overall Brookfield, WI physical siteResponsible for company SafetyIncludes implementing and enforcing all company safety policies, providing required oversight, use of PPE, and periodic training.Review and update Safety Policies and Plans based on regulatory changes, company operations, or proceduresMaintain physical assets of the companyAddress needed capital investment, including business case and payback/ROIManage accurate and timely manufacturing of company productsManage inventory and stocking levels for finished goods and rawsWork with Sales and other departments to analyze product trends, define stocking levels by location, and ensure a proper mix of inventory and product freshnessAnalyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement or improvementImplement business strategies and plans that align with strategic objectivesMonitor performance, establish KPI’s, track and implement proactive, corrective measures, to ensure objectives are metOversee and manage admixture dispenser systems - production, installation, maintenance, and repairBuild and maintain relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

Required:Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational leadership role(s)Demonstrated leadership ability and personal integrityStrong understanding of business planning and operational managementExperience using data and performance metrics to guide decision-makingAbility to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issuesExperience with ERP systems, production planning, and inventory management
Preferred:BSc/BA in Operations Management or related fieldExperience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or concrete admixturesExperience with batch manufacturing and blending operationsFamiliarity with OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, and other regulatory requirementsLean/Six Sigma experience
