Senior Transmission Engineer

JCW Group is partnering with a leading utility to hire Transmission Operations Engineers supporting Transmission Operations and Balancing Authority functions. You’ll perform engineering studies, power flow and contingency analysis, and implement security-constrained economic dispatch and flowgate methodology to ensure reliable transmission operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform power flow and contingency analyses to support transmission operations
• Implement security-constrained economic dispatch and flowgate methodology
• Execute engineering design, modifications, and technical analysis
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers (Senior level)
• Support on-call responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Engineering or related discipline (ABET-accredited)
• Engineer II: 2+ years’ experience | Engineer III: 5+ years | Senior: 8+ years
• Experience with transmission operations, reliability studies, and NERC standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
