WE'RE HIRING | Service Sales – Telecom Solutions (Cabling, OFC, Networking) | Government Business

Our client , a leader in telecom solutions and networking solutions for telecom sector is looking for an experienced General Manager Service Sales – Telecom to spearhead Business Development and Sales for its Government Business within the Telecom Solutions division.

Location: Mumbai or Delhi

Experience: 10–22 years

Industry: Telecom Solutions and Services

Preferd Qualification: B.Tech + MBA

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development and sales across Government Telecom accounts

• Identify upcoming opportunities and lead pre-RFP engagement and RFQ qualification

• Develop Go-to-Market strategies and strategic partnerships

• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and drive deal closures

• Own sales, revenue, order book, margins, forecasting and collections

• Develop strong relationships with government stakeholders and key decision-makers

• Drive new account penetration and strategic account management

• Work with alliance partners and internal teams to develop winning solutions

We're Looking For

• 10–22 years of experience in Telecom Services Sales – Government Business

• Strong exposure to System Integrator sales and government-led telecom projects

• Experience across BSNL, BharatNet, State-led Telecom Projects, Data Centers, Railways or similar projects

• Strong understanding of the Government Telecom ecosystem

• Excellent government stakeholder relationships and account connects

• Experience in pre-RFP engagement, GTM strategy and strategic partnerships

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in CRM, Excel and presentations
