Manufacturing Shop Manager at G.A. Rogers & Associates - Freehold, New Jersey

Our client in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Direct Hire Manufacturing Shop Manager. If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below. Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7AM-4PM, Fri 7AM-1130PM Salary Range: $60-80K Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor shop personnel, including mechanics, technicians, and support staff. Oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all shop equipment. Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Enforce all safety regulations and procedures Including PPE. Identify opportunities for improvement in shop processes and efficiency. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalency. Ability to read and understand mechanical shop measuring devices. Proven experience as a Mechanical Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role. Experience with water jet or Laser a plus. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, practices, and procedures.
