Director of Nursing – Home Health Care

My client is an established Home Health Care agency covering Broward and Palm Beach County. They are looking for an experienced clinical leader to oversee their Medicare operations, standardise processes across both offices and help drive the business towards a census of 250 patients.

The role:Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the Broward and Palm Beach officesManage clinical staff and support the delivery of high-quality patient careOversee clinical compliance, documentation, quality assurance and regulatory requirementsLead survey preparation and ensure the agency is prepared for upcoming AHCA surveysStandardise policies, procedures and clinical processes across both officesSupport business growth, helping increase the Medicare census from approximately 100 to 250 patientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with nurses and other healthcare professionalsProvide hands-on nursing support when requiredManage your own schedule between both offices, with flexibility based on operational needsWork directly with the Owner to strengthen the clinical operation and provide greater consistency and accountability
Required competencies:Current Florida RN licencePrevious Home Health Care experience, ideally within MedicareStrong clinical leadership and staff management experiencePrevious survey preparation and regulatory compliance experienceAbility to develop and implement consistent processes across multiple officesStrong nursing network and the ability to attract and retain quality clinical staffIndependent, hands-on approach with a strong work ethicTeam player who is open to new ideas and continuous improvementStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsCommercial awareness and an understanding xzbcwsv of how clinical performance supports business growth
